Does New York University School of Medicine accept Transfers or Advanced Standing in to their 3rd year classes?
Although a 3rd year slot would be the best match, I would not object to a 2nd year slot. Some schools have transfer applications on the web, however I have found no such forms on the NYU SOM website. Other schools require a letter of intent before they provide application materials. I have found no information on their transfer policies nor how to best initiate contact.

What kinds of shoes do high school students in New York wear in the snow?
What kinds of shoes do high school students in New York wear in the snow?
I live in Oklahoma but was wondering what type of shoes teenagers in high school wear in the snow in New York? I am visiting there this christmas and wanted to know what the norm was? But not the dorky kids;) The well dressed kids :-D I was curious what they wear when it is actually snowing and they would have to walk through snow. I for one am not going to wear my uggs and ruin them! I thought maybe rain boots to keep your feet dry and they can be so much cuter than snow boots.

I think most high school students in New york wear probably Uggs, high boots, even shoes like converse/DCs/skaters/vans I think most would be wearing high boots with buckles or such, and uggs. :) Hope this helps and btw, Have fun there!

College algebra and trig. You can take them both in 1 class.

hey, I also went to school in NY (graduated High School 2 yrs ago). For some reason i never took Geometry. I took Algebra, trigonometry (math B), pre calc, and than AP Calculus. If geometry is part of trigonometry than i guest i took geometry, but I'm not sure. lol. The requirements, i think, is to pass Math A (algebra), than Math B (Trig) and then you could take pre calc senior or junior year.
I want to take pre cal . What are the requirements and if i meet them , when do i start the class ? Thanks =D

Is New York Law School a good school?
I'm trying to choose which law schools to apply to, and New York City is a location I will be choosing schools from. What is your opinion on New York Law School (not to be confused with NYU)? If you have opinions on any of the other law schools in NYC, excluding NYU, Cornell, Columbia and Fordham, please share!

New York Law School is not a good law school at all in terms of prestige Excluding the ones you mentioned, the only somewhat decent law schools left in NYC are Brooklyn Law School and Hofstra Law School (not quite in Manhattan--but nearby in L.I.) Any other school isn't really any good.

Is The dalton school in new york a good school to apply to?
Is The dalton school in new york a good school to apply to?
Im new to the area and my dad wants me to go to dalton. im just wondering is it a good school as in social wise. Im a outgoing person so a boring private school isnt fun to me or a all girl school. Like what are the teachers and students like at dalton.people talk good things about dalton so im curious. I've been to private school before so i kinda know what is is like.

yes. although Dalton is open to all boys and girls who are academically gifted enough to get in, it does have many kids from rich families and from parents who are celebrities. if you do a google search on dalton, you'll find names of famous people you will know who went there as kids. an old friend of mine is a teacher at Dalton, 4th Grade i think. and she says that her kids never fail to impress her as to the kinds of imaginations they have. just to give you a sample of the high social status of some of the kids, when she gave them an assignment to draw pictures and report on what they did on a weekend, some of them drew helicopters and limousines taking their families out to their summer houses in The Hamptons. and maybe about 5 years ago my teacher friend had a girl in her class whose dad was a pitcher for the New York Yankees...
